ALPACA Spring Show
March 29th, 30th, and 31st – 2012
We welcome you to bring your best and compete with some of the best alpacas in Canada.
Our judge is Lisa Shimeld from California, USA
March 29th – "Introduction to the World of Alpacas"
Thursday is aimed at new alpaca owners, those considering alpacas or those who are just down right curious about the goings on at an alpaca farm. We present "Shearing to Shawl" with shearing demonstrations, fleece sorting demonstrations, spinning and weaving demonstrations a brief seminar on the history of Alpacas and general information on alpaca husbandry. Finished products from the Alpaca Marketplace will be available for purchase and viewing. You are invited to bring your alpacas early and meet the general public on Thursday. (Stabling Wednesday evening) ALPACA members with products for sale may contact Denise Gamroth .
